Highway Direct is Serious about it's membership policies and will not accept any driver's applications that are deemed to be fraudulent, plagiarized, or otherwise falsified. Complete documentation of your driving credentials is our first line of defense when it comes to Highway Direct's reputation with companies whose loads we are shipping. On the other hand, indiscriminate distribution of driver documents is absolutely NOT AN OPTION.
We call it "The Highway Direct Triple Check", others call us security happy. To find a happy medium, Highway Direct has pioneered a new document system within it's load bidding technology. Our document security system locks the door to your documents 30 seconds after access is granted for specific purpose. This helps us to keep your files out of the public domain, yet allow companies who need the information to accept your bids to see it freely.

Who gets to see my Documents?
How and when do companies get to see driver credentials? There are 2 times shipping companies can gain access to your private Driver's License, Proof of Insurance, and relevant proof tax documents.
1. As a company reviews your bid, they have access to your credentials to aid in the decision process. After the bid is awarded, should another driver "win" the load, your credentials are no longer accessible to that company or entity. If the driver does not accept the load after winning the contract, your information will again become available as they make another decision.
2. In addition the company will have access to your credentials if you decide to accept and pull a load for them. This is done for archiving reasons for both parties. However, the information in question is private and shall remain so for the duration. Each of the shipping companies have strict guidelines regarding the dissemination of driver documents.
