Highway Direct Fee Structure
All signups are for a $99.99 introductory annual membership. (After launch Memberships are $19.99/mo and annual subscriptions will be $199.99)
Highway Direct is currently in the final Beta Testing of our system. We are only accepting annual memberships at this time to choose testers and users from. Memberships are good from 3/2007 to 3/2008 and all activity regarding testing will be compensated with further membership and load benefits.
All testers and early users will be selected from those who have signed up for an annual membership.
All Shippers and Drivers are entitled to a 3 month introductory period.
Highway Direct respects the efforts of both shippers and drivers. In an attempt to be more fair than others in the industry we have pioneered a new fee structure associated with brokering loads.
| Drivers Monthly Membership | $19.99 |
| Drivers Annual Membership | $199.99 |
| Shippers Monthly Membership | $19.99 |
| Shippers Annual Membership | $199.99 |
| Load Commission | $40 or 2% per load |
| Faxed Documents Fee | $9.99 |
Shippers have said "Why Should I pay for my membership?"
Shippers should pay a monthly membership fee for the following reasons.
- The have the benefit of submitting their loads to the best drivers, with the most to lose.
- They enjoy the benefit of multiple drivers and transportation companies bidding at once (bandwidth issue).
- They get to choose from competing job offers complete with truck info, skills, experience, DOT, Insurance and more.
- They require AND/OR want to view confidential information to make decisions (storage issue).
- They require secure document and information systems (security issue).
- Shippers save an average of 20% per load that avoids a middleman.
(If 5% of gross expenditures are sales - this could add 1% to the bottom line.)
Drivers have said "Why Should I pay for my membership?"
Drivers should pay a monthly membership fee for the following reasons.
- They require secure document and information systems.
- They want to bid on more loads than they will take.
- They want to see all available loads and be able to have credentials in the system so they can bid.
- Drivers make an average of 20% more per load that avoids a middleman.
They already paid for gas and tires so this is pure profit.
